The company Key to Metals AG develops and operates the Total Materia databases. The first online database was developed more than 20 years ago with the aim to combine material properties in one database. The core of the Total Materia products is the Total Metals database, which is supplemented with numerous modules and data sets, e.g. for non-metallic materials.
As we share the common goal of displaying material properties centrally in a database, we are pleased about the cooperation with Key to Metals AG. The dataset handed over contains 1000 metallic materials, which Material Hub users can now research. The detail pages of the materials list the basic properties and a link to the Total Materia database, which is subject to licensing, provides further information on the respective material.
